Out of curiosity, what would you consider the single most advanced/impressive/complex/difficult/badass composition available to learn on Active Melody?

          Hi James,
Ep 515 is one of the toughest I’ve tackled. Especially if you can get anywhere close to Brian’s tempo.

I have said before that the earlier lessons tend to be shorter and simpler than the more recent lessons. For example, in his older lessons, Brian said that he often didn’t include a proper ending, but instead the lesson was just more to demonstrate a style, a lick, or a technique.

I also posted earlier that I decided to go back and try to play every single AM lesson I’ve ever learned. So far I’ve only gone through about 15 old lessons. I could play most of them pretty well after practicing them about 15 minutes. But when I came to the Chuck Berry lesson EP060, it took me most of two days to even get close to Brian’s tempo. But I’m still not sure if I would vote for EP060 as the most advanced composition.

Also, it’s worth noting that there are lots of lessons that I can play 100% perfectly except for perhaps one short fast lick. And I will NEVER be able to get those down perfect, no matter how much time I practice. It is what it is.

This may not be the toughest, but it will be a challenge
