Laidback drop D percussive finger style, always fun to mix things up with a little drop D once in a while.

I can always tell good player from the first few bars and this is great . I always feel that many people hammer the strings too hard on accoustic steel string guitars but you got it just right with this lesson. Strumming with your level of precision and good tone takes years of practice, this I know. Bravo 👏 👏

Loved it Scott, I agree with Geoff, you managed a subtle but extremely effective percussive style that sounded great. That lesson has long been a favourite of mine which I recorded 4 years ago and almost forgot how to play until, just by coincidence, yesterday when I re-learnt it.
Now I’ve heard yours I’ll quieten mine down a tad.

                  Thanks Richard,

Playing finger style is still very much a work in progress for me.
Listening to players such as Meelis, Wilfried and yourself was my inspiration to begin developing some skills in this style.
                  Thanks again!

Loved it, Scott! I’m a big fan of drop D sound and this was a delight to listen to.
Your gentle percussive technique had a seasoned pro-level quality, very – VERY – nicely done!

Great playing Scott. That was a smooth and mellow sound extremely well played.

Great technique with this drop D tune, Scott. Love the sound of that little guitar. Good to hear you posting again.

Love the Drop D Scott. Unfamiliar with this one but I can tell you definitely nailed it big time! Strumming groove was right on the beat and the fills fitted beautifully into the piece. Great stuff! All the best! 😎🎸😎

Lovely sound you got going there Scott.

Nice and subtle touch on the strings and a relaxed style are giving this what it needs.

                              Cool guitar also.

Hi Scott, that drony piece was very well and steady played. Sounded perfect to me. Great feel of rhythm!
I know this lesson well, it’s one of Brian’s greatest percussive rhythm lessons.

I haven’t seen you for a long time on AM. I hope you are fine.
                                All the best.
