I’ve just watched the entire March Challenge and I have to admit that I’ve become a little envious of the many excellent contributions of a really high standard. Unfortunately, improvisation is not necessarily my world and my best skill. Please understand that my preference has always been for cover versions, notes and tabs and above all for different musical styles and variety, with the attempt to orientate myself as closely as possible to the original. With this in mind, here is the Mexican folk song “Las Mananitas” as a duo with nylon guitars.

That’s a very pretty song.

Beautifully played Dieter. Always great to hear the Nylon/Spanish/Classical Guitar and better still: 2 of them. I also always appreciate your the time and effort you put into presenting your videos. ✅✅✅ All the best! 😎🎸😎

Nicely played Deiter and the classical guitar sounded great. Good, clear acoustic tone. Thanks for sharing your music.

Very pretty Mexican song, and both parts were played very well Dieter. Great feel and execution.

Your comments have not escaped my notice Dieter 🤣.
My take on all this is the ability to improvise is just one skill and completely overrated in my opinion 🙄. Like you, I come from a classical background and there is so much more to playing music.
By the way, hats off to you for this one. This is the kind of music I like best and I loved your recording and presentation. Playing duets as princely as this is not mean feat. Getting both parts perfect in time as you have done here is really hard. Bravo 👏 👏
