Hi all
This track has an interesting story behind it. The track is a softer version of Teenage Kicks by The Undertones, which is very raunchy rocking tune. A friend of mine down loaded some midi files, which are very tinny and kept the drum which was played through a Garage Band drum app, and then a bass line and synth line added…. so the sound is similar to what you’ll hear in Supermarkets or Shopping Malls!…. I’ve added 4 lead breaks on it, and tried to make as countrified as I could
Hope you like it
Andy
Yes, you turned a boring instant backing track into a really nice country rock. At 1:00 the tone is really close to a banjo.
Fun to listen.

Hi Blues…. thanks for the feedback…. Really appreciate it…. I know what you mean re the banjo sound… I used different garage band amps for each solo… I deliberately went for a clean sound that had that country feel…. I also found that Brian’s on line country/playing around chords lessons are really too and I tried to put some of those ideas into practice
Very interesting performance.
Dieter
