Hey Keith,
Three very different arraignments for sure. I’m always impressed by just a voice and a guitar so Arthur “big boy” Crudup gets my vote on this one.Mike

Wouldn’t usually vote against Clapton but Muddy and Johnny get my vote on this one!

I agree – Arthur ‘Big Boy” Crudup”s version is great, I’ve been listening to the older acoustic blues and this a good find for me.
Thought Muddy’s version with Johnny Winter was really good, the interaction between Muddy & Johnny was always good and Johnny hit some pretty sweet licks on this one.
I like EC’s version and I’ve heard it many times – probably too many times – Clapton’s music is pretty Ho-Hum to me these days – but this is one that I still call a favorite -

Arthur and. Muddy tops my choice
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

The slow pace and tone of Clapton’s edges the arrangement contest for me but having Arthur on vocals would be the icing!
