Hi everyone,
I’m playing in the key of D hereThe note/chord progression is: Arpeggio played
Bm / G / D / A
Bridge: G / D/F# / Em / D / A/C# / BmFor this I first play the root notes with the chords (arpeggio fingerstyle).
Then I switch to the lead accompaniment (yes, with very few notes) and back to the bridge with the chords (arpeggio fingerstyle). After that the part repeats itself, whereby I change the lead accompaniment a bit.
So, hold everything back in the tonal variations.I hope you have some fun with it.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

I love the structure of this Wilfried and the alternation between arpeggios and single line soling. Also … your sound is just so recognisable! I could pick your guitar sound and playing style from other guitarists for sure. A brilliant composition, very enjoyable and loved the additional background images. Keep on pickin’ and all the best! 🥸🎸🥸

Excellent, I could have sworn I heard some Mark Knopfler in it! I enjoyed the video too.

Your stuff is always so terrific and seamless and this one is no exception. I love the bass line, in particular. It really gives your skillful leads the proper heft and movement Bravo. (Great tone on that instrument, too.)

Hey Wilfred,
That is some very impressive fingerpicking Arpeggio you got going on there.
Kinda reminded me of REM.
I just loved the tone you’re getting and that guitar is very cool.
Well done.
Liam.

Wilifried, I always learn something from you. I love the lead line around 1:20 and the walk down shortly after that. Really tight playing! Cheers. Pap

Great! Love your fingerstyle playing, Wilfried! Your compositions always have this lush quality, you fill the space with music, even with a few notes. The repetitive motifs gave it a catchy hit song vibe, very enjoyable.

Well, Wilfried, another great contribution. I could listen to in a car all the way from Kiel down to Munich. Listening to the landscape through music eyes. It is simple as that – just good music. thank you
Werner – and thank you for the impressions of your Heimat too

Wow Wilfried. I always get enjoyment and inspiration from your playing. This time both in the way you worked the progression in the key, and the figures you play around the chords. Very purposeful, with creativity that excites and surprises. The sound is great, danke shoen.
Cheers, Tom

This is wonderfully put together arrangement. Structurally it would fit into a hit song as an earworm. It had shades of a Dire Straits song in there but essentially a creative use of arpeggios and lead lines in the Wilfried way. One to put on loop.

Hugely enjoyable Wilfred. Although you stuck to relatively simple concepts like arpeggios and leads based on a few notes, you crafted a composition of sophistication. It proves the point of the challenge that you can say a lot with a little.

Lovely melody with a nice blend of arpeggios and lead lines , the start had a creedence sound “ have you ever seen the rain “ , you certainly said a lot with a little, cleverly produced as always.

Simple can be so beautiful, Wilfried. Another top notch production. Your name stand for quality. As others already say, very „Mark Knopfler“-like.
