HI, I recently purchased a blues driver pedal BD 2. I have it connected to my Marshall dsl 5c amp. The amp has a great sound for playing the blues but to enhance it I purchased the Blues pedal. Honestly, its the same sound. I don’t gig so Im pretty much at home sitting in a chair playing next to the amp. Are pedals made for gigging, where you do not have to do any adjustments from the amp??? Not sure or maybe I’m not doing the settings correctly.

Ok, couple of questions to start off with. Battery or mains power, is the little red light coming on when you press the foot switch, Have you got the leads going in the correct direction ( input=guitar output= amp)????.
You should have 3 dials/switches on your BD2, “Level, Tone, and Gain”. Start off with all of these set at 12 O’clock and adjust til you get the “sound” you are looking for..
