Mark Knopfler rhythm lesson

Hi Brian.

Any chance of a lesson to show the detail of how mark knopfler plays rhythm on songs such as Walk of Life, Cannibals etc? So far I have not found a lesson anywhere that demonstrates it.

Brian has done a ‘in the style of MK’ lesson but not the titles you mentioned. Raymond, I suggest you try this one from Pavel. In my opinion, he is the best teacher at this unique style.

I’d second that recommendation. Pavel is excellent at breaking down and teaching Mark Knopfler songs and even has the recognition and backing of the man himself.

You can also check out Phil Caffrey who I came across recently. He has a series of lessons on specific Knopfler techniques (link to first below) as well as lessons on various dire straits songs.
