It’s been a little over 2 years since I last posted. Phyllis passed away in Dec. of 2023 and I just haven’t had the heart to continue. I kept my membership up but just never participated. I notice that most of my very talented friends are still active and I can’t imagine how many good performances I’ve missed. I think this is the first video I’ve done, I always did MP3’s before. I used the Yamaha PSR 3000 keyboard to make my own backing track, recording into a Boss RC4 loop pedal and saving it to a memory location. I also used a Boss VE 20 vocal performer to get harmony when I wanted it. Taylor Acoustic/Electric guitar. Ran it through a PA head on a clean channel with no effects. I’m glad so many familiar talented folks are still here.

So, so sorry to hear about Phyllis, Clarke. 😢😢😢 My deepest sympathy to you. Great to hear you play and sing though. Music helps but can never replace a loved one. Beautiful vocals, song and guitar work. Look after yourself and I hope we hear you more on the forum. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

So sorry to hear about Phyllis, Clarke.
It is wonderful to have you back on the forum. I think this is the first time I’ve actually seen you play. I was really impressed watching you effortlessly glide around the fret board embellishing each chord so beautifully. A truly profesional performance.
Please keep posting and taking part on the forum.

Ah my dearest Clarke ♥️❤️💖
You can’t imagine what joy you gave me when I saw you posting here again!I really hoped all this time that I would hear you again But I knew you needed time!I didn’t know you could play the keyboards because Phyllis used to play them. What a sweet song you have chosen !and because of your long experience, your playing all over the fretboard seems so effortless and your singing so soulful!Welcome back my friend 🧡 💕💞❤️ -

Very sorry for your loss.
Glad to see you back in the forum with your beautiful rendition of this song. I’m not not familiar with it, but loved in your version: excellent flat picking guitar playing, soulful vocals, all very well executed and with an emotional vibe for the listener.Guido
