Brian’s March 2025 Challenge announcement:
“Ok folks, so for this challenge I’d love to see what variety we can get from this jam track in C that is void of a 3rd! There is nothing in this that determine if the 3 chords (C, F, and G) are major or minor, so it will be up to YOU to determine that.
You can play chords, lead, harmonies, or any combination. You can also mix and match what chords you determine to be major or minor. i.e. you could have a minor 1 and 4 chord, with a major 5 chord (common) – or all 3 chords minor, all 3 chords major, they can be dominant 7 chords, major 7, 6 chords, etc etc.”
The Active Melody site member challenges are open to players of all skill levels. Thanks everyone for leaving friendly and encouraging feedback on each others’ submissions and thank you Brian for keeping us motivated!
