I’ve visited other sites for guitar lessons and came back to Active Melody. Not one came close to Brian and Active Melody. Brian is a natural teacher with a gift for teaching in understandable terms. He proceeds in a logical manner. He provides lessons for a variety of music types and levels. One thing I like in particular is that you can take many of his patterns from one lesson and apply them to another. I’ve done this without even thinking about it. Most recently I was playing along to his most recent Clapton lesson and realized I had taken a rift from one of his earlier Jazz lessons and it sounded great.
Don’t know if I should still refer to myself as a “Newbie” because since coming to this site my ability to play has dramatically improved.
