So enjoyable Catherine! I’m struck by the relaxed pace of your phrasing, telling the story without rush or hurry, and such wonderful tone and feel. A glass of wine and a slow dance with someone special!

Someday — when pigs fly — I will be able to play as gracefully and tastefully as this. Your use of thirds was masterful, but I am also amazed at how you bend strings so accurately and get so many varied tones from them.
The composition overall was terrific, too — maybe better than the sum of its parts.

Hi Catherine, that was beautiful! As others mentioned, I am also amazed at how well you do the bends and vibrato.

A lovely piece here Catherine. Love the backing track and chord progression you’ve chosen. Sounds like Ray Charles or BB King, harmonically. Tasteful playing as well, I can almost hear lyrics from your note choices…that is to say you play with a very vocal quality.

Fantastic composition, Catherine. Sounds really awesome and your playing is superb. Love the tone and sounds you getting from your guitar. Parts reminded of an old Bill Frisell cd I have around here somewhere.
Excellent!

So sweet and beautiful, Catherine! I think your mellow melodic composition would add a nice festive atmosphere to a Winter holiday by the fireplace or something like that … also, a masterful use of the harmonies and other techniques that I could only hope I could “someday” master like you 😉
