Real nice Ken, there was something ‘less than obvious’ about your note choices – especially at the start – with a lovely dark mood coming through. Great tone – right up my street – and you look so relaxed. Well played.

Right out of the gate, I like the use of repetition and variation. The verses have a complete arc; each one a complete thought, yet unique. Well done 🙂

Woa, very good Ken. It was so good and was over before I knew it. Nice job man. Tone, licks, moody, everything really sounded beautiful especially those long, slow bends and releases.

This is beautifully played Ken. I like the way you had confidence to leave some breathing spaces. Well played.

This was a first class improvisation, Ken. And a great tone you have dialed in. I think, I see you the first time in the challenges. If it is so, a fabulous debut!

Certainly the most relaxed player this weekend and your improv was a super cool example of what can be achieved with a haunting motif and accompanying licks.

Great tone but a little more volume to put the solo more in front.

Excellent post Ken. Your note choices and bends sounded great and soared over the backing tracking with your tone and sustain settings. Very cool. Tom
