Limited in guitar gear but always wanting to add.
I’m sporting a Fender American Standard Stratocaster and Line 6 Spider Jam amplifier (purchased because of those oh so needed jam / drum tracks and recording capabilities in order to improve my playing).
Have owned other Stratocasters and a Seagull acoustic years ago. Also have a Line 6 Guitar Port in like new condition if anyone is interested.
Might be adding a wah and octave pedal soon.

The Dunlop Crybaby wah is my favorite.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I’ve never used a wah before, do you just kinda keep beat with your foot on it? My digitech rp355 has a wah but I don’t know how to use it.

It’s really just kind of a filtering sweep from low to high – push down / forward and it whines more – pull back and it’s a softer / muffled effect. You just ‘feel’ the spots you want to make it whine. Very neat!!!
There are a lot of demonstrations for various wahs on YouTube with side by side comparisons. I’d urge anyone to check those out first. The particular model I purchased is the Crybaby Classic Wah with the Fasel Inductor. Sounds better to me than the entry level wah but about $30 more.

Thanks Jason, I’ll check it out. I think I’ve mainly passed on them for so long because I thought what if I spend that kind of money and can’t play with it right.

Just purchased the Seagull Entourage acoustic and waiting on shipping. Played this guitar at local store and certainly has playability that I like. I used to have the Seagull S6 and remembered it to be very easy to play.
Anyone else have thoughts or reviews on this guitar?

I don’t want to make this post all about me… oh wait, but it is (LOL).
Received my Seagull Entourage yesterday and sure plays like butter compared to other acoustics. Very nice guitar for the money. It was purchased with a black Seagull soft case that is also great. The case has plenty of pocket space and straps for carrying.
I bought it through GearTree on Amazon and asked for a discount, which they gave me. They respond to emails lighting fast and packed the thing really well. No shipping either. Guitar under $300 and case for about half-price.
Anyone needing a deal on a guitar – this would be a good route to go.

Jason, I used to own a Art and Lutherie. Its in the Seagull family. A great guitar. You got a great deal on yours. I love the Godin brand of electrics too. Happy playing and nice to meet you.

Just bought a Boss OC-3 Super Octave pedal on eBay for about half off regular price. It was $71.00 including shipping for what is described as ‘new other’ having only been opened and tested. I think it’s quite a deal!!
I don’t know how often I’ll use it but can’t wait to check it out. It’s about the only effect the Spider Jam amp doesn’t have so I thought I’d get it.
Any thoughts on the pedal would be appreciated.
