Can anyone help me with making the tab larger print? I am not very tech saavy. I have tried zooming but then the tab doesn’t fit on the page.
It prints so small that I have a very difficult time seeing it.
Thank you for any help. -

Hi Sharon,
You may want to check your printer settings before you print the tab. After you click PRINT you will see a printer settings page where you can possibly adjust the scale (increase it to make everything larger) or click ☑️Fit to Page if you see such option.Instead of printing off the pdf tabs, I usually print the tabs off the On-Screen Tab Viewer (Soundslice), the interactive tablature. The tabs there are much easier to read and they print along with the music notation which I like. To print from the Soundslice, click on the Settings icon (lower right) and then Print. Adjust the printer setting here (click on more settings…) to adjust the scale.
Well, I hope that helps…

Sharon,
If you go to the Soundslice for the lesson click on the gear wheel to make it full screen. There is an option to print. That will give you larger Tab and also the Stnadard notation, which is nice for any timing questions that Tab doesn’t deal with as well as standard musical notation.
I use this feature to print out any Tab that I want for a given lesson because as you said the tab is small and hard to read.
Hope this helps, if not give us a shout and someone will clarify how to do this.
regards,
Gene

Excellent! I went through soundslice like you suggested. Much easier to see. Thank you all for taking the time to help me, it’s much appreciated.

Hi Jola, I’ve tried going to Soundslice and hit print. I get a print screen that is pretty much blank with a Small (Tiny) box in the upper left hand corner of each section where the music should be. Like it can’t read the information or notes. I’ve tried preferences etc. with no luck. Any thoughts??

Hi John,
Not sure what platform you are using, but my first thought would be to update your Acrobat reader (the program responsible for viewing .pdf files). Check what version you have and see if there’s a newer version available. You can download it from the Adobe website, here’s the link: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/pdf-reader.html
See if that helps, John.

Thanks for that Jola. Although I have never had an issue with the normal tab file the soundslice worked nicely also. I have a system I use for my tabs that works really nicely for me. I may post about but I know what works for me may not work for anyone else though!
