I haven’t been posting much recently. Last year I turned 71 and had my birthday cake with my host family in Bangkok, Thailand.
This year I, too, also am in Thailand and had my 72nd birthday here. I’m currently bumming around Bangkok on my bike. I hope to post pictures, but at 512kb (something like that) my pictures are too big. Can you guys tell me how to downsize them, please.

Hope all is going well for you all.
As many of you know, Thailand and Cambodia is at war with each other and south Thailand is also fighting with someone ( terrorist). I’m not in either location. OK
        Hope to post more soon.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Happy BDay Pete . You just caught up to me but I have another BD coming up soon. Glad you are still biking around. Just had the same problem trying to post a pic of the new guitar. After some frustration I used a free site called Compress 2 Go and that worked. My old windows 7 computer just uploaded pics no problem. 🤷‍♂️

              Thanks Keith.
Yes, Ms. Nong actually in the evenings go cycling. So far I have spent 210 days in Bangkok, Thailand. I got both my car and motorcycle license here and currently staying in a 5 star hotel in Bangkok. (lol). I did move the other day from the apartment I ‘ve been renting for a year and a half. It was no longer safe so now until I leave, I’m in a hotel run by an Englishman and his Thai wife.

Life here can be a bit boring, but I have 2 hobbies to keep me active. The other night a Thai friend and I jammed for over 2 hours on my ukulele’s . I’ve bought 3 of them so far.

People in the past said Thailand is low cost, not any more. My SS doesn’t go far and remember I still have expenses to pay in Japan. heck, I don’t care, I owe no one any money. So as I say,” the wind is my roadmap ” in my life.

When I get back to Japan, I hope to go cycling and camping for a month. McDonald’s gave me another year commitment, which I agreed, but they also know that I travel have the year.

Hope is going all well for you.

                Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply. Well, I did get my motorcycle license here in Thailand, also car license too. There is a new model Yamaha PG 1 115cc I have my eyes one. It’s not a power machine, but I think it might be OK touring Thailand. I am biking locally here, but the roads are terrible . Thailand is NOT a cyclist paradise. Why, well, you have stray dogs everywhere and yes, they do attack one. I wish I had my Colt 45, there’d be a few less dogs, but really I am serious. People here just let there dogs go wild because, well I don’t know, but these dogs carry rabies. It is a serious condition here.
Anyway, I’ll be heading back soon to Hiroshima ( near ) and hopefully put my tent and sleeping bag on my trusted bicycle and tour southern Japan.

Not too long ago, I spent 43 days camping near a beach in Ishikaki, Okinawa. Now, that is something I would recommend all to do.

Hey, Mike, let’s enjoy life to its fullest.
