Grace Bowers helped close Gary Clark’s show the other night. Gary’s music is pretty laid back and creates a nice palette for solos. Grace starts at 6:10 with some pretty subtle playing and starts to unleash some fury around 8:00. She’s an exciting player to watch over the coming years.

She certainly is a fine player for sure. I was fascinated with her the way she slowly built up her solo to some impressively speedy licks. Her guitar looked like a modified SG with whammy bar.

I know she prefers SG’s. I’m not sure if that’s the vintage one some wealthy collector gifted her.

I’m in the middle of watching Glastonbury but this artist was a definite must. Loved the unique riffs, thanks John.
