Gillian Welch song recorded with my granddaughter

Hi All,
Thought I’d share this. My lovely granddaughter Erin (23 yrs) visited me last week & we spent some time re-recording a song we’d had a stab at some eight years ago. She doesn’t sing regularly, but I believe she has a very sweet voice.

The song is a favourite of mine, from a favourite artist. I enjoyed accompanying her on guitar, then adding some harp, keys and some backing vocals here & there.

Hi Andre & thank you. Yes I focused a lot on the arrangement & mix – wanting to do Erin’s vocals justice.

We recorded this version in the key of A major & I played an A harp in first position.
