GIFTING

Hi all,

I just gifted a friend a $10 a month full access membership. Is there a way (without asking him) that I can tell if he indeed opened and started his membership. I don’t want to bug him about it.

I went to “Billing” and saw my purchase but don’t know if he accepted.

Hi Pat,

Well, not really. First of all, you would have to know your friend’s profile name and then he would have to show up at least once on the Forum. Then you would be able to click on his profile and see when was the last time he was active.

My suggestion, what you could do, after a few days, is ask your friend how he likes it so far…. And lastly, I think you could also ask Brian privately through email 🙂

Ask him if he introduced himself on the forum yet. Remind him that being active in the forum is an important way of increasing your knowledge about guitars and playing them.

What a nice thing to be doing Pat, no idea if there is a way to check the member/user names on the forum, come to think of it do we need to be signed to the forum to access the premium content..anyway, I would drop Brian a line or two asking if your buddy has taken up your offer..
