Friend request button under user avatar in threads?

I think it would help if the “Add Friend” button appeared directly under a user avatar (photo) and name, on the forum threads. This way we don’t need to go to the user profile in order to make a friendship connection.

All you have to do is click on their profile picture, that takes you direct to their profile and request button.

Yes I know, that’s what I do now, but I often find myself asking… Am I already connected with this person? If I had a visual tip of whether I’m already connected or not, it would be easier.
