File size too big?

Noticed today the site won’t let me upload photos, says “file too big.” I’ve tried edited, un- edited, cropped, uncropped, camera roll, screenshot, “take a photo” direct on the site… doesn’t matter, all clock in at ~2000 kb (limit says 512 kb.)

This has never come up before, so I’m wondering if anyone else has seen this, or it’s just me! Using an iPhone btw.

Hi Alan,

That’s happened to me before. I use a Mac so I just open the image in the Preview app, choose File -> Export and adjust the file size.

I do what Joe does sometimes. Other times I use an app called “ACDSee Photo Studio”. It’s very simple to use, and a great tool to keep photos organized, if you like using files, folders, etc.
