        Fiddler’s green Tragically hip cover.
        Excellent Canadian band.

        “Fiddler’s Green
by The Tragically Hip is a deeply personal ballad written by Gord Downie about the death of his young nephew from a heart defect.
The song utilizes the nautical folklore of Fiddler’s Green—a sailor’s afterlife paradise—as a metaphor to comfort his sister and honor the young boy.”

Gord Downie was diagnose with brain cancer. A part of his brain was removed leaving him with loss of past memories.
Gord somewhat recovered and insisted to do a last tour across Canada.

Gord died October 17, 2017 at age 53.

For those interested there is a beautiful documentary called Long time running (2017).

Guido: acoustic rhythm guitar, vocals. Standard tunning.
André: acoustic lead guitar, slide guitar, backtrack. Open E tunning.

        Hope you like it.

A very beautiful and poignant tribute. Stellar performance all around – vocals, guitar work, backing track, video production. I was not familiar with this, so thank you for enlightening me about Gord.

Stunning performance Guido and Andre! Excellent acoustic and electric guitar playing. Vocals are haunting and I believe these are your best vocals Guido. So much emotion. Unfamiliar with this artist but this is all round superb! All the best! 😎🎸😎
