Once again, I’ve enlisted some famous help for this challenge—specifically, Neil Young and his song “Harvest Moon.” The guitar, backing and the solo, is tuned to Drop D. That means the low E string is tuned down to D.

I recognized this tune immediately Werner. What a very nice job you did with it and that droning D.

That dog knew just where to look. Awesome job Werner. That’s a classic that always gets me going.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Well played Werner
Love the song… Brings back memories. Covered nicely, great tone and it’s obvious your pup enjoys your music as well. I really enjoyed how you switched between the main riff and your fashionable solo. Great stuff.John

Very cool, Werner – that’s one of my favorite mellow songs. I’ve never heard an instrumental version of it, but it seems to work very well.

I like very much this old song, and your rendition absolutely did honor to it, alternating strumming with the melody on top, Excellent rendition, Werner!

One of my favorite acoustic guitar songs. And probably the most beautiful song in D.
Love that deep and long bass note, very powerful.
Very well played. I enjoyed listening very much.More Blues!

Smooth and gentle! You convey this song so authentically, Werner,
that you just can’t help but hum along while listening (at least I do).Ich kann nicht verstehen, weshalb Pammy am Anfang gleich abgehauen ist. Steht sie vielleicht nicht auf Neil Young?

Oh, that ever lasting D note at the end! Love the Drop D tuning, great song choice for an acoustic guitar, Werner! Well played but your pup took all my visual attention as she was looking for treats from the camera woman, haha! 😉

What a beautiful song and the tone of the guitar just magnified it even more. Love it… I want to learn it now. Pammy was happy to go off camera shot.

very nice submission with a beautiful atmosphere coming from your playing!
If I wasn't making mistakes I wouldn't be the kind of player I want to be. Perfection is dangerous.

Very nice Werner. It is very pleasing to listen to and you made a good point in tuning down the E-string. That added some extra flavour to the tune. I have to try this song myself, it is so relaxing listening to.
