Nice job, Randy. I think this is one of Brian’s best early lessons and a favourite of many members. It was the first to open my eyes to combining the major and the minor.

Nicely played, Randy. Wow, I haven’t visited that lesson in a long time. Sometimes when I’ve got the noodles I put on a 12 bar jamtrack and just play 12 bars in major pent, then 12 bars in minor pent, then start mixing it up. And sometimes it sounds really good, and other times it sounds really bad… One thing you notice right away is that the notes you can linger on or bend are slightly different for each scale.

Randy, that my friend was top notch playing of a lesson that I think many of us have visited.
Looking forward to hearing you play some more.

That was excellent, Randy! I don’t think it could be played much better than that. Timing perfect through it all and nailed those runs. I was not aware of this lesson before seeing this, so thank you for that. Now in gonna have to go check it out!

                                  Hi Randy,

One of my favourite ever AM Lessons! You played it beautifully!

I have not played this one for a long time. You’ve inspired me to go back and play it again!

                                  Cheers,
