Some lessons demand attention ( all weekend in this case ).

I do Brian’s lesson and then my own lead which is loosely based on EP318 which was a Dorian lesson so I adapted it to G Aeolian & I think it works.

I threw in some Bb major 7 arpeggio over the G minor part near the end, plus a nice wee A7 arpeggio lick up around the 10th fret position.

        Hope you like it.

It was quite good with lots of expressive movements. Really cool!

Nice one, Brian – good creative stuff. I know how it goes to spend a weekend on one lesson. This past weekend I’ve been diving into EP327, a super slow blues with several super fast runs that seem to be just a tad beyond my fastest speed picking ability. Frustration is happening.

Whatever you play sounds great, Brian! Love this minor groove and all the verses you added, it had a few nice flavors to it between the Dorian and Aeolian parts, kept it (more) interesting.

Very good rendition, Brian! The original first cycle was played very well, but what impressed me the most is your own composition in the second cycle, very original and enjoyable to listen! Always astonished how some AMers can learn so quickly these lessons and even add their original musical phrases in a very nice way! Great job!

                    Awesome Brian, great playing,
                    Nice tone.
Lol the plaster didn’t seem to bother you.

Really cool, Cloughie. Working in the licks from another lesson and in another key in a few days is impressive musicianship.

Very laid back and ultra cool Brian. You can’t beat playing with the modes, a bit Mark Knopfler in there for sure. Well played. Keep on pickin’ and all the best! 🥸🎸🥸
