Hi Active Melodists,
In my post yesterday, I mentioned not feeling confident enough to record myself improvising… but then I decided to step out of my comfort zone and cross the threshold, as this is the only way that I’ll be able to make some progress 🙂
So here is EP311, with a bit of improv starting at 1:37. The result doesn’t sound great to me, I’m having a hard time moving away from scale-fiddling and into building melodies that will stick, not to mention numerous technical flaws. I’m looking to find out what I can do to improve this, so any criticism is more than welcome from anyone, and especially the more seasoned players among the community! Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment!
Cheers
