EP306 – David Gilmour/Pink Floyd Inspired

Hi All,

After posting Brian’s other David Gilmour Lesson (EP105) last year I had always planned to learn the other, so here it is. I’ve added an additional 16 bar lead of my own and due to me now using Pro Tools First I have adjusted the original tempo from 112 bpm to 100 bpm. My GarageBand DAW on my old iPad did not have that function. Happy with any feedback re: sound (or any other aspect of playing) as this being the first solo video with electric guitar using Pro Tools First.

Another great performance from you Gary. Listened to Brian’s version of this and your sound stackup against what he did very nicely. I am always intrested in how different players interpret the same piced of music. Your version is smoother, jazzier, less “stratty” sounding which also sounds very nice indeed.

Your own lead runs into this very seamlessly too.
