Hi Brian,
I love this lesson and am working hard on it. I was wondering if you might consider adding another recording within the lesson that repeats just the guitar rhythm with bass and drums. In other words, remove the lead section with another mp3 jam track. This would be super helpful to me and hopefully to other students as well.
Dennis, isn’t that already included in the lesson? You have two mp3 files there, one with the lead guitar, one without.

Hi JoLa, the first jam track includes the bass and drums which is great. The 2nd jam track includes the guitar rhythm on the first pass then launches into the lead in the second pass. My wish would be for a jam track that only includes Bass, Drums and the rhythm guitar through at least 2 cycles.
Hmm… must be something wrong with my ears because I don’t hear any additional rhythm guitar there? Brian’s lesson is a rhythm and lead combined – and that’s what I hear on the track. Brian even mentions that the jam track is just bass and drums and your part is to cover both rhythm and lead at the same time … and that’s what the lesson covers.
Well, anyway, Dennis – I’m sure Brian welcomes suggestions but I doubt he reads the forum posts on a regular basis. It is best to email him directly at brian@activemelody.com with specific requests and suggestions 🙂

Thank you JoLa. I really appreciate the guidance.
Regards,
Dennis
