I thought I would give this one a shot on my new Jeff Beck Strat.
Thanks,

Awesome sound you’re getting from that guitar…especially that chugging bass line. Great work Larry, I really enjoyed that.

Larry,
Nicely done. You had a really steady groove going, with nice tone on the guitar.

Congratulations to the new guitar Larry! Yes, right at the beginning the good piece sounded with a wonderful sound. If I’ve seen it right, you play on the neck- and middle pickup. You played with a nice groove. Well done.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Nicely done, Larry. Congratulations on the new strat, looks suspiciously just like Brian’s! I have just had some home renovations completed and converted a basement bedroom into my dedicated music room. Don’t know if you ever saw my “guitar cupboard” but just installed version 2.0. I think you’ll need one soon, too.

Cool, John! I feel somewhat guilty, because I traded in my newer model 2016 SG (with the silver humbucker pick-ups) on the Jeff Beck Stat. Now I wish I hadn’t–like I sort of deserted the new SG or something. But my guitar shop guy said my traded-in SG was sold the next day to a teenager with his mom, and the young lad was all excited, so that takes some sting out of the trade-in.
Boy, I wish I had a basement. There can be discord in the SF manse–driving my wife crazy with the constant practice of the same songs. Where is that picture of your “guitar cupboard?” I need to check it out. I bet it looks awesome.

That is a cool looking and sounding Strat Larry. You played that 12 bar groove and fills perfectly. Congrats on the new axe…looking forward to hearing more.

Nicely done Larry! Love that new Strat. You’re acquiring quite the collection of fine guitars. Can I come over to your house and play? 😉

Thanks, James. Sorry, but I traded in my 2016 SG on the Jeff Beck Strat, so my budding collection took a hit. But don’t worry, I can still acquire more. I think someday I should get a Les Paul, just to say I have one.

P.S. Of course, I still have my 1965 SG with the P90 pick-ups, my first real guitar. I would never part with this.

Thanks, Guys, for the positive comments. This gives me confidence that I am making progress. Maybe slowly, but at least I am not going backwards. LOL!

Larry, you got one great tone out of the Strat. I don’t know exactly which modifications the Jeff Beck version has, but the colour and the sound sure work for me!
