I love this piece by Brian, but for the life of me I can’t find any songs it fits to. Even though its written as a 12 bar, it plays like 24 bars. Any matching songs people?

Hi Mick,

Since Brian composed this lesson himself to make it sound like in the style of Willie Nelson, you won’t find any exact matches in the songs. Brian mostly will avoid copyright issues but he also does it because he can. He has a great ability to capture someone’s style and make that into a lesson without sounding exactly like any particular song. He does mention “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain” so you may hear some similarities there.

Sometimes his lesson demos may sound like specific songs a bit and it might be worth scrolling through the comments where people may point that out, either here on the site under the lesson materials or on Youtube.
