Gave EP 136 a quick try before dinner. Always enjoyed this style of country blues. Reminds me of those old records my old man use to play 🙂 A fun one to play even without the jam track.

tmorenochuco,
I really enjoyed your playing. I wish the volume on your guitar had been a little louder because your guitar has a sweet tone to it which really fit this melody and I wanted to hear more guitar. Great job for sure! I really look forward to your next post.

I enjoyed that. I had forgotten about that lesson, and its one I would like to get to. It reminds me a little of Kristofferson’s Help Me Make it Through the Night. Your tone was sweet, and I agree that the guitar could have been more forward in the mix. And your timing was excellent.

Thanks guys. I meant to plug in my guitar to the amp to get better sound for the recording but I only had but a few minutes to sneak this session in before dinner 🙂

Sounded great. Every time I hear someone do a nice job on one of Brian’s pieces I just want to go learn it, right then and there.

Tony,
That was wonderful! I agree with John–you inspired me to go and learn this one right away.
There is a very gentle yet confident groove that comes through your playing and I really like it a lot.
Great job!

Hey Tony and having just scrolled down to make my comment; it’s the same as all others lol!
Man that was great and just needed bit less backing to enjoy more of your playing. I also missed this lesson and its on my ever growing to do list, but I think uat thr top.

Like everyone else Tony, I am also impressed with your playing of this one. I like the laid back style of some songs so i may well give this one a try.
Thanks for bringing this one to the fore.Billy

LOL! I’m hoping to re record this with better guitar volume. I got carried away with the volume on the speakers. Thanks for all the positive feed back guys! Love this Forum.
