With Blues Ideas, I’m using my old, cheap South Korean Vester. I bought this very solidly built instrument 20 years ago for around $250. The only thing I’ve replaced are the pickups, which I swapped out for Gibson P90s. Unfortunately, for some inexplicable reason, the video quality is pretty poor, but I didn’t notice that until it was too late.
Dieter
Some cool licks on display Dieter. Not familiar with this one but I’ll have a closer look. Well played! All the best! 😎🎸😎
Sounds very good Dieter.

That guitar sounds awesome Dieter! I have an Epiphone Dot from 2002 built in the Sain, Korea plant that’s a good player.

There are some pretty nice chords in this one Dieter and we’ll played as usual 👌.
The more I hear guitars the less convinced i am that there is any need to purchase expensive ones. This one of yours sounds great and at a great price too. I was out demoing some jazzmasters last weekend and I could not tell the difference between the Fender and the Squire versions. The only difference was the Squire was half the price 🤔
Even my classical guitar which was probably equivalent to $3000 in today’s money is only marginally better than my $800 Yamaha Flamenco.
