In the lesson video Brian teachers a lick at 18.10 which starts on fret 8 of the B string, but on sound slice he plays a different lick. that one starts on fret 11 of the B string.
        Can anyone help.

IT LOOKS LIKE TO ME THAT Brian DOES NOT TEACH THE LICK IN BAR 8 OF THE SOUND SLICE WHICH STARTS ON THE 11TH FRET OF b STRING.
He GOES FROM TEACHING THE Arpeggio to a lick having two notes on the 8th fret of the B string. So for me it’s had to follow.

It’s not the same lick. But you could use the lick in the video in its place. It’s better. This stuff happens now and then with some of the lessons. But it is an opportunity to play things your own way.

Just as long as I was not mad and someone else can see that there is a difference.
                Thanks for your help.

Not sure how Brian does the transcription it could be an automated method given the huge amount of work involved every week.

He also may have more than one take of a lesson and play it both ways but you see it on the instructional video as only 1 way.

This caught me out when I first started part of it is Brian expects you to be loose and the lessons core goal doesn’t change.
