Here’s another great country lesson from Brian. I just really like this kind of music.
This time, I didn’t use my Tele, but my Fender Strat. I bought it second-hand a few years ago for the equivalent of about $1,500. I actually wanted a different design (because my bass has the same one), but the sound, which can also produce harder sounds, ultimately convinced me.
My cheap Squier is by no means “unemployed” because it can also be used for many other things.

I remember learning this one Dieter. It’s a beauty with lots of cool licks and guitaristic elements thrown in. I really enjoyed your playing of this and the tone you dialled in. All the best! 😎🎸😎
Aww man, that brings back memories of when I did that EP! Great job on it! Awesome tone too!

Nicely done Dieter.

One of my favourite lessons! I love that heavy alt country vibe. Very well played!

More Blues!
Brilliantly played Dieter 👌. I think this is a lesson I might have done some time ago.
As for choice of guitar. Your strat was perfect for this one.
Sounds great, Dieter. You’re nailing those fast phrases. Love the tone on your
Strat’.

Top Notch Dieter. Sounds good on a Strat too.

You cover this nicely. I appreciate your ‘tone’ settings which are set perfectly for this arrangement. Well done.
