Hi fellow AM friends,
This lesson has been one of my absolute favorites ever since I first saw it, and I’ve been wanting to play it ever since.
I’m happy to say I’ve finally recorded it!
It’s also a bit of a test drive for my new DAW (Cubase 13) and video software (Shotcut). I’m still learning my way around both, but I hope you’ll enjoy the sound quality and overall result.
Thanks for watching!

Great job! Very fluid playing. How many years have you been playing?

Hi Todd, thanks! I learned a little bit of playing as a teenager, but didn’t get far back then. I would define the beginning of my guitar journey in earnest when I joined Active Melody. That must have been around 12 years ago.

Way to go Tremelow, you have a great sense of rhythm going there. As far as the recording, I don’t know why it happens, but the output level is on the low side. I had to crank up my speaker volume.

Thank you Michael. Also for the volume. I will check that again.

Nice playing! That was in my favorites back then. You play these lessons and then forget most of them after a few weeks so I went back further and noted those I really liked and came up with 7 just between 577 and 591. I’m trying to include one a day in the lineup. 🙂

Loved it, you’ve inspired me and will immediately put this on my ‘To Do’ list! Great playing, great groove. And also, besides your playing, excellent quality of video too. Is this video software through your phone, iPad, camera or computer? All the best! 😎🎸😎

Thanks Garry. It’s great to hear that this inspires you. I recorded the video with a webcam and then processed it with a program called Shotcut.

This is excellent work Tremelow! 🙌🙌. I loved the control you had with the palm muting. This is one I did a long time ago when I first joined AM and I could not get it as good as this at that time
One of the responders to this said your recording was too low. Not true, I have been listening on my cell phone and your volume is just right. Certainly a lot better than those who use smart phones to record themselve.
Recording appears to be a black art subject to many opinions. You have done great with this 😎

Wow, Kevin, I had a lot of fun listening to this. I would say, you have this lesson in your pocket. Tight rhythm and great groove. And it sounds and looks great. It’s got a lot of drive and you really get it across.
Das geht richtig ab, das hast du toll gemacht, Kevin!Take the chance to meet your AM friends on Zoom.
The next Meetup will take place in May/JuneThere will be a detailed announcement here in the forum a few weeks before..
I look forward to meet you.

Great playingTrem. I’m on holiday listening on my beach chair with headphones and tone and volume were perfect. Now you have to master the audio and visual fade and you’ll be totally professional.
