Hi, another newbie here! Just joined. Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place, if it has been answered elsewhere please direct me to the right place. I’ve tried to download some mp3 files (eg for lessons EP183, EP184) but it simply goes into play mode. Is this intentional? Many thanks, Mac

Hi Mac,Are you clicking on the redish text “download mp3” or something like that it says?. It should either download right away or ask if you want to play or download…

Hi Billy, thanks for your reply. Yes, I do get a [DOWNLOAD MP3] orangey-brown message which I can click on, but it then goes straight into a new page with just the player in it. I’m not given the option to download or save it. It’s worked fine with other lessons, it’s just the more recent ones that seem to be causing the problem. Cheers Mac

Hey Mac,
Hold down the command key and click on the link.

Thanks Bryce – which is the command key? I’ve tried each of control, shift and alt, plus the windows logo one, and they all take me straight to the player, in some cases in a new tab. I’m still puzzled! Cheers Mac

Sounds like you may have a “pop up/ad blocker” switched on Mac it will show as a “red hand” just to the right of the URL bar, if you right click on the had then it should give you a list of options, you want ” do not run on these pages”.. hth.

Ok I don’t get a red hand just the usual white one (with right-mouse click) and the option above isn’t included in the list. I’ve attached a screen dump.
Greatly appreciate your efforts, guys! Many thanks

Ha ha! Oh Bryce…I saw the name Mac and assumed you were on a Mac. That’s what I get for answering emails first thing when I get up. You would right click the download link and select “save link as”. Then choose where you want to save it. What web browser are you using?

Bingo!! That’s done the trick – many thanks Bryce for your help (and Billy too), I now have full audio capability!
Cheers
