        Telecaster FMT HH.

I was looking at one at Sweetwater. Best looking Tele I’ve ever seen. I want one.

I ordered from Sweetwater a Tele with dual humbuckers, but it has 4 knobs – a vol and tone for each pickup. I didn’t like the sound of the humbuckers, so I gave it to my grandson. I reckon the noiseless single coil pickups (which are in my Strat) are the way to go. Just a thought….

Hi Bill. I do have one of those – 2021 Fender Special Edition Custom FMT HH Black Cherry Burst. That’s gotta be the longest name for a guitar ever. 😀 I absolutely love it. Not only is it gorgeous but it has a lot of tone from the dual Seymour Duncan hum buckers and push/pull coil tap. Very easy to play too. I highly recommend it.

Sunjamr, My brother had Humbuckers in a tele once. He didn’t like them either. Don’t believe this FMT HH is the same thing though.

Bill, That is a really nice guitar. I went to my favorite guitar reviewer ‘Darrell Braun’ to check it out. He liked it, and your challenge sounded great.

Joe, Still the best looking Tele I’ve ever seen. Funny thing just happened while I was writing this. My wife came in, saw your guitar and said: No! Then proceeded to tell me our card balance. Gotta love her.

So now I have two guitars I really want.

Bill, the guitar sounds more like a Les Paul until you split the coils and then it sounds more like a Tele. But I rarely split because I love the tone of the full Seymour Duncans. I also went to Darrell Braun’s review before buying it although I didn’t base the purchase on it…I find he tends to rarely have a negative review. I would have gotten the Amber but they were out of stock and I needed to make the purchase before my wife changed my mind! 😜

Bobby Utz has one… it is maroon with a rosewood neck.
