        Hello everyone,
It’s been a long time since I’ve participated in Brian’s challenges… I hope you’ll notice some improvement in my performance, even though I’m just trying to repeat what Brian suggests.

        Best wishes

Hey Santiago! Nothing wrong with playing what Brian teaches, that’s a great way to mastery. This track didn’t seem to give you any trouble, sounding good!

It sounds like you learned that pretty quickly, Santiago. Sounds like you’ve been playing that for months. Skillful and tasteful.

At first I thought that track sounded familiar to me ….. 🤔 Ahh yeah! I did that one, too – although a bit slower and only managed one cycle without falling apart 😉

I think that’s pretty amazing that you actually play it so well at full tempo without any bluffs for almost 11 minutes! Great job, and welcome back!

Well it sounded like you struggled to keep up with tempo to me, which is not a bad thing because you obviously were pushing your self on this one. Hopefully you can hear this yourself and maybe reduce the track tempo a tiny bit to give yourself a fighting chance to stay in time. I thought the supplied slower tempo track was too slow, so use one of those plugins or apps that can just reduce the tempo slightly and give it another go outside of the confines of the challenge.

                                    You’ll thank me later.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Hi Santiago, your sounding good here, on a track that has some really fast picking. That’s one of the hardest things to do, keeping in time and at speed. Good tone and sound and nice to have the doubling.

Thank you all, and thank you for all the comments and suggestions (like slowing down the piece)… My challenge lately has been to interpret Brian’s pieces as accurately as possible (timing, technique, sound…)….there’s still a long way to go…and much to enjoy…
A big hug to everyone, it’s a pleasure to have you with me on this journey
