        Happy New Year Everyone!

Here’s my stab at trying to mix a bit of major, minor and arpeggios playing. I still have a lot of work to do on the vibratos and playing the changes but I love these challenges as they really help to cement what we’ve been watching.

Looking forward to watching you other submissions.

        Ta for now.

        Dermot.

Very nice performance, Dermot – some lovely, accurate, slides and I certainly detected some vibratos in there; I enjoyed that a lot 👍🎶😎

Good job of putting your learnings into practice Dermot. I like the way you lean on the root note…something Brian stresses a lot. I could clearly hear the chord changes by your choice of notes. Nice job.

Thank you Ralph. That’s encouraging. I always feel once I press that record button my fingers start sticking to the fretboard. I can’t work out why? 😉

You have found a lot of fine sounding notes over this backing track, Dermot.
And these long slides, really impressive! I always have the problem to land on the right fret.
I wish you a happy new year with lots of guitar experiences!

Nicely done. You are following the chord changes and mixing the pentatonics in fine fashion. With each pass you develop more confidence and it comes through. Keep up the work. Thanks for sharing.
