To watch any one of these players would be a privalige, but to see Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher and Ariel Posen playing in a ‘Crosscut Saw Jam’ together is absolutely unbeatable.
This is improvisation at its highest level, just where did I go wrong in those early years ….

            Fine players for sure.
I Notice the economy of finger movement across all three players. I have recently got into playing Chromatic scales trying not to lift my fingers running up and then running back down lifting the fingers as you go back. The object to get economy of movement and I have to say it has helped a lot. Economy of movement is well demonstrated here.

              I think they’ve been practicing a lot longer than I have….

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete
