How can I copy the whole lesson on USB to training a lesson on a computer in another room where I do not have the Internet connection?

Hi Milos,
James is right, you can only download and copy the first (free) YouTube part of the lesson. To do that, you can use any program that lets you download YouTube videos. The other parts of the lessons are hosted on Vimeo and are not downloadable, due to copyrights. And of course, you can download the tabs.🎸JoLa

I also spend time in a relatively remote place with no internet. It’s not a problem for me, since I only watch Brian’s videos one time. Before I watch a video, I download the tabs and print them out, and also download the MP3 lesson files. Then while I watch the video, I make notes on the printed tab sheet. Next I listen to the lesson MP3 a few times just to get the song in my head. Then I listen to the first lick or two on the MP3, then using the tab sheet, I try to play it. In olden days before video was invented, people learned songs just by reading the music and listening to a record. And before record players were invented, they learned songs just by reading the music. Mind boggling, by today’s standards.

I have great internet and that’s a real good thing, because I listen and move small baby steps through the lessons with probably 250 – 300 times before I even get close to learning it. No kidding. Lol

I have moved things to usb stick, part1 of each lesson is downloadable from you tube, backing tracks are downloadable too, part2 of a lesson I record using my phone video recorder, save all of these to my pc in a named folder and then transfer the folder to usb, I can either replay on ps4 or usb stick direct to the TV via the usb port..

Hey James, I hear ya on that one. 🙂
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I must admit my score average is below a hundred these days actually well below par! contributing features on soundslice sure helps me. I like any good software like soundslice,, i joined another site that uses soundslice and has the chord box diagrams above the measures,,it can also benefit in the long run showing the staff key signatures flats sharps indication of the key

Thank you very much for all your opinions.
I have purchased a Video Surgeon for many years. I was fully satisfied with learning from the Internet. I’m sorry I wasted my money and went shopping here.
I just expected that I could also save the purchased item on a disc.

Well, look on the bright side. At least you don’t have much money sunk into a way to copy, and definitely just chump change in the lessons they are so inexpensive.

I have a PC with a modem-router hub my PC is connected to that by cable but I can use the internet on mobile phones and laptops throughout the house, and sometimes just use a phone in the bedroom to watch Active Melody, you can get adapters for PC that just go in a USB see video, but this dependes on whether your router can transmit and how far it has to reach the other PC. I have never used one of these USB adapters and I have heard of some users having problems with the PC going to sleep but there migh be a work round that.

Thank you all,
I used Google a little and found one solution that suits me. You just have to look at the source code twice and you can take .mp4 from Vimeo to the disc.
Greetings,
Milos
