Here is a step by step video of a First Act acoustic guitar into a resonator. He used an angel food cake pan, chrome gas stove burner reflector and cut up a cheese grater for sound hole covers.

Its crude but shows a lot of ingenuity

            LOL

Add some candles and he would be the star attraction at birthday parties

Music, cake and candles from one catering service

Its way cool!!!!!!! Ok, its not a high end guitar. Its like the First Act guitar I painted for my neighbor. It had issues too. I wonder how it sounds???? On one hand it couldn’t be worse than the Epiphone Resonator that I had. It was tempermental. Must have been built on a Monday????

I had a friend that made a Cigar Box guitar. It was way crude. but sounded cool. Yes its on the rough side, but he used alot of low budget know how. The bridge gets me. Won’t strings mess with it???

Well one thing…………….When he goes to play, no wise guy will want to play it????
