I am new at this, and I’m trying to figure out some things. For example, if I am playing A shape C chord, what pentatonic scale can I play over it? If we have the song in a key of A and we are using the D shape triad for the A chord. What pentatonic scale do we play over this? Is it the fifth C Pentatonic, which is a D pentatonic scale?
In short, if we are playing in A shape, C cord, do we use the second C shape pentatonic scale?
