Unfortunately it’s all about ratings – news organizations, morning talk-shows, etc… they know that losers like Charlie Sheen = ratings which = cash. You’re absolutely right, the government getting it’s act together is much more newsworthy topic, but the masses would rather watch Charlie Sheen ranting. I think Charlie Sheen is doing a lot of this on purpose too – creating his own publicity, even though it’s negative. If he were smart, he’d keep acting crazy… keep hamming it up for the cameras, and then write a tell-all book. I definitely see a reality show on him in the future too, so who knows what’s up his / the media companies sleeves on this.
The sad thing is that he’s abusive to women, this has been reported 5 or 6 times since the early 90s. It’s one thing if he wants to hurt himself, but being physically abusive to other people makes him a pretty disgusting case.
His run will be over before we know it and he’ll go back to being a nobody.
