Hello, I beg your indulgence that I am once again addicted to the Beatles virus. My first guitar teacher recommended to me in the 1960s: “Boy, if you want to play the guitar really well, you should pay close attention to the Beatles.”
Here’s a little-known song “I don’t want to spoil the party”. What did I learn from it? … that George also played many wonderful little riffs, chord fragments, voicings and syncopated patterns directly from chords in this rockabilly style, that John, as always, put real dynamic pressure on the rhythm guitar, that Paul always created impressive bass figures and that Ringo, of course, always played unusual drums.Dieter
P.S. As usual, I downloaded the vocals from the Internet

Ditto for me, Dieter. This sounds great! I know this had to be a lot of work, but you are really firing on all cylinders here! Kudos on your playing as well as the video you put together.
This really brings back memories.

Great thinking. Nicely arrangement. Lovely job on bass and guitar. You are right-George was a master of all those rockabilly licks in the likes of Eddie Cochran and Carl Perkins. Love that style. Glad you used this as your example. Well done.JH

To take the Beatles as guideline and inspiration is a good idea since decades, I think. You’ve done a good job putting all parts together, Dieter. The Beatles vibe came through.

Nice cover, Dieter. Seems like every time you do a Beatles song, I get an ear worm and the tune stays with me a couple of days. Probably because I haven’t heard it for so long and it brings back memories. Love this one but “Dear Prudence” was my favorite. 😀

Well done presentation, Dieter.
For some reason, I don’t think I ever heard that song by the Fab Four but thanks to you, now I did 🙂
