This is the same track that Bob showed me he was working on, naturally I had to give it a go myself. It was pretty fun working out all the possibilities and utilizing a few of Brian’s killer licks. I played the whole track, so it’s a long listen. I had a lot of fun working with Bob on this track and can’t wait to see what he comes up with in future improvisation sessions.

This song is mostly C major, but as we all know, you can go into the minor as well for a few runs or bounce in and out of the minor pentatonic.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Great impro to a classic Brian/Quist Backing Track Michael. Very bluesy and melodic. Loved the playing in the higher registers too. Big tick! All the best! 😎🎸😎
