Can someone point me to intro ideas such as scale runs or the like that can be use as an intro to a 12 bar progression? Perhaps something several bars long like SRV might do on Tin Pan Alley? I’m looking not so much to copy somebody, but looking to an “idea” that I can adapt, such as 3-5 scale notes, then back 1-2 notes, then continue a pattern up/down the fretboard.
Hey Steve,
I came across this lesson on Tin Pan Alley. Maybe you can adapt some of these ideas. One of my favorite SRV songs.
