        Hi all,
I’ve been busy with EP219. For this I have created in the key A an accompaniment. In the future I will want to deal with it more, in order to better control the guitar’s fingerboard. In any case, it is a lot of fun to play some kind of accompaniment. There are other keys in this lesson.
I usually play the sound dry in the DAW. Now I have directly imported the sound from the amplifier and added 35% echo in the DAW. I mainly play with the pickup at the bridge; in between I switched to the neck position and the Tremolow used to get some change. So I played with the elements a little. I hope you enjoy it.

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

          Wilfried,
Great playing and exploration of the keyboard. I must admit I wasn’t a huge fan of the echo. I would also like a little more major pentatonic mixed in for some sweeter licks. There was a great turnaround I had never seen before at 45 sec (consider it borrowed). I think they were sliding myxolydian double stops. Even here you could have hammered on the major 3rd to get a little more major sound. Overall, really good, thanks for showing me some new stuff.

            Wilfried,

Love your guitar playing on this one. I have to agree with John ref the echo. Overall, fantastic as usual.

Wilfried, Great exploration with the effects,, it reminds me a hint of David Gilmour would do on one of the Pink Floyd albums..I heard something similar it was “Animals” I thought it sounded great! cheers!

Superb playing as per usual Wilfried, I am thinking 35% echo is too much for my liking. Would love to hear this with just a little slapback going on, This only a personal choice though and I understand the need to experiment.. ( where is the thumbs up smilie when I need one?)

                  ..Billy..

Really cool, Wilfreid. I think I need this phrasing lesson much more than you do!
I really liked how you started out in the minor pentatonic, and then brought in the major. Also, just the chords alone, you get a lot of mileage out of playing around just those chords. Like the A major and D chords.
I liked the big echo effect. Made me think of a rainy night, a detective, and Blade Runner or something. Very dark and moody feeling to me, overall smoky!
Excellent! And that Duesenberg in action again, fantastic, cutting tone setting. Like a blow-torch.

Hello together, thanks for your nice comments and hints. Yes, the sound is a matter of taste.

John (charjo), after finding for my part that one can create transitions at different points, always interesting variants arise. Thanks for your note.

It’s definitely in the direction of David Gilmour; at least close; I also mean, John (sunburst).

Larry, this way on the fingerboard, came from Brian’s clues to create his own improvisation. I’m learning to play varieties. In these exercises is so much potential.

Yes Mike, the sound I got from the Super Champ. Here I went through the program “Fuse” into the sound settings and then copied it into the Amp. Great thing, as I mean. I get a lot of possibilities. Overall, I like it very much; would only like more time.

Exellent, Wilf! The sound is matter of taste indeed but I think that your licks are so cool that they rings out with any sound you could imagine. If I would play this tune, I coose my own sound and it sould be different but it’s just my taste. Keep on going!
