Great bluesy vocal. Helen. David, what a cool vibe you laid down, some of my favourite playing of yours.
Thanks for introducing me to Imelda May. I’ve been enjoying her music in my sick bed with the latest virus passed on from my 4 yr old grandson.

Great job Helen and David. Your arrangement is very soulful with a slightly Rumba/Jazzy Blues vibe. I listened to the the original, and don’t really like it. I much prefer your arrangement and playing and singing. My favorite singing part was the ending bit. Very bluesy. David’s guitar playing was very classy and his phrasing placed perfectly around the vocal lines. That only comes with much experience.
You two blend very well together and are really good at putting your own original stamp on your performances. I can hear that both of you sing and play because you love music, and that comes through in your playing. Can’t fake that. Some players play as a hobby, but the really good musicians that I’ve known have loved music since they were kids and spend a lot of time and put in the work and effort to learn how to express the music inside of them. You two both have “music souls”. My kind of people. Reminds me of a great old song that says; “been playin’ since they’s babies.” Here’s one for Helen and David and Brian:

Another brilliant performance from you both.
Iβm aware of Imelda May but not this song of hers.
Just a great all round arrangement of vocals and guitars and I can see that you both had a lot of fun doing it.
Iβm sure there will be more you two.
Liam.

That was a stunning performance from you both, Helen & David ππ
Your collaborations are masterful – made for each other! They have the admirable quality of sounding so polished whilst remaining raw and gritty – how do you guys do that? πππΌπ΅πΆπΈπ₯πΉπ€
David’s perfect lead guitar licks and background vibe gives this song a feel that makes me “Chair Dance”, whether I want to or not ππ And to top it off, there’s your amazing smoky vocals, Helen, that add such style and panache – fantastic π₯°π₯°
So, yeah, I did kind of like it a bit π€£π€£.
As ever, lots of love and best wishes to both of you and your families β₯οΈβ₯οΈ – Mark ππΆπ
