I’ve always loved the early Beatles songs, even those that didn’t make it to the top of the charts. In 1964, John Lennon wrote You can t do that for the album A hard Days Night. He also took on the wild solo for the first time. For George Harrison’s 12-string part I used my 61-year-old Italian EKO, for the solo I borrowed from my son the black Epiphone Paula, which unfortunately has been sitting unused in the corner of his home for years. I got the vocals and drums from the internet again.

This is terrific, Dieter. You captured the Fab Four vibe perfectly. Wonderful instrumentality all around.

My brother was at the Beatles’ concert at Shea Stadium in New York City on August 15, 1965. He said that he could see the Beatles but he could not hear them because of all the screaming girls around him. That show was particularly significant as it is widely considered to be the first major stadium rock concert.

Very nice playing and mixed/mastered! I don’t remember this song but it definitely had the Beatles sound!

Well, I remember this song. From back in the day when you were either a John fan or a Paul fan and I loved John’s singing on this great melody.
Wonderfully recreated, Dieter. Great job on all the parts.
My wife pointed out the similiarity of the opening to “Ticket to Ride”.

Such a great song choice Dieter. You played all of the parts very well and captured the energy and Rockin’ Vibe of the original.

I am seriously impressed, Dieter. You are a Beatle, for sure. I didn’t know this song, but am glad that I do now.

Nice playing Dieter, I especially like the George inspired solo and the way you set this all up on your video, nice going.
